Therapy for Couples in Pennsylvania

The Drift

In a high pressure lifestyle, your relationship is often the first thing to suffer from neglect by design. You and your partner are both managing demanding careers and complex schedules. Over time, you have stopped being teammates and started being roommates by necessity. You pass each other in the chaos, communicate only about logistics, and have lost the emotional intimacy that creates a foundation of support.

The Relationship Reality

You feel as though you are constantly negotiating terms with your partner instead of connecting with them. Every conversation feels like a transaction. You are both so focused on keeping the ship afloat that you have forgotten why you got on the ship in the first place. This leads to resentment, loneliness, and a sense that you are navigating the most difficult parts of life entirely alone.

You Do Not Need to Have It All Figured Out

When your relationship is under pressure, it is normal to not know how to fix it. You might not know why you are drifting apart, or you might not have the right words to express your needs. You do not need to come to our first session with a plan or a list of demands. We act as the objective third party to help you and your partner identify the root causes of the distance and build a plan to reconnect that fits your specific, busy lives.

The Strategic Shift

We help you transition from the administrative mode of relationship management back to a foundation of true partnership. Our approach is centered on communication strategy and conflict resolution designed for high achievers. We identify where your communication is breaking down and provide the tools to fix it. Your relationship becomes a sanctuary rather than another obligation. You create a home environment that fuels your success rather than draining it.

Two people stand in a modern kitchen, smiling and possibly preparing a meal together. The man holds a bowl, and the woman is reaching into it. There are various kitchen items on a dark marble countertop, including a large orange bowl filled with leafy greens, lemons, orange salt and pepper shakers, and several white and orange containers. Glassware and shelves are visible in the background.

I help couples across Pennsylvania bridge the gap between feeling distant and finding connection, providing a safe, neutral space to improve your communication and rediscover the foundation of your partnership.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime.

  • No. Many of the couples I work with use therapy as a proactive tool to navigate life transitions, sharpen communication, and deepen their connection before things reach a crisis point. It is an investment in the health of your partnership, not just a repair shop for when things go wrong.

  • You will know it’s working when you start resolving conflicts more quickly, feel a greater sense of emotional safety, and notice a decrease in the recurring arguments that make you feel disconnected. Success is measured by your improved ability to turn toward one another during stress rather than pulling away.

  • You are ready to graduate when you have resolved your recurring negative cycles and possess the tools to navigate challenges independently. However, many of my clients choose to shift from active therapy to a maintenance schedule, such as monthly or quarterly check-ins.

  • My rate is $250 per 50-minute session. This reflects the specialized, private, and results-oriented approach I provide to help couples resolve conflict, improve communication, and foster a more resilient, connected partnership.

  • I do not accept insurance, which allows me to prioritize your privacy by keeping your clinical records free from third-party oversight and mandatory diagnoses. However, I can provide you with a monthly "superbill" that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
